Arkansas | Backyard Wedding

It’s me: Libbie. Here’s our first quick foray into the world of blogging our wedding galleries! We want past and potential client's to get a whole, complete feeling of the way we try to photograph weddings from beginning to end.

First I’ll note that we got to spend time with Tyson and Emma in Little Rock shooting their engagement photos. This time together is invaluable to me and Evan, and we hope to the couples we work with, too. It just lets everyone settle, take a big breath, and remember that we are all just people doing big things within our own lives. We want the time we spend together to feel significant yet carefree. It’s a delicate balance, but we’re able to strike gold more often than not because the couples we work with are folks who want their wedding to hold those two things at once.

Instead of traveling to Emma’s hometown in New York for the wedding as planned, the ceremony and reception were held outside at a friend’s home. The May weather was about as sweet as May in Arkansas can be, with light spring temperatures holding out for the dear Forkners. I’ll let the rest of the photos speak to the love and thought that went into this 2020 wedding, but we’ll always be grateful for your trust, Emma + Tyson. I hope you two are out there giving each other a forehead kiss right this minute.
